This was the best meal I had in New York on this particular trip. For lunch, we started (and shared) and order of arancino. Tasty and well prepared. While I generally don't mention bread, it was worth noting as extremely fresh. I'm guessing it was baked in house. However, for me, the winner was the branzino. It was baked with a variety of vegetables and capers. It was delicately seasoned with some lemon. Paired with a sauvignon blanc it was a great lunch option. Service was very good at this price point and the server knowledgeable. Also, I really enjoyed the vibe of the dining room. While it was downstairs, the extremely high ceilings and well decorated space made it a very please setting. Also, it was very busy with what appeared working professionals in the neighborhood. We were a group of three and my share was about $75 including tax and tip. This was a good value especially considering the location.

Everything we had was delicious. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts, the watermelon salad, and any of the pasta dishes.

I usually don't prefer italian food but this place was definitely an outlier! Dim lit restaurant, typical midtown italian spot vibes. We were here for restaurant week so we were able to get an appetizer, entree and dessert for $60. Weekday night but still had to wait for about 15-20 mins (no reservation). Good service, nothing specific to note. The cacio e pepe and the fried chicken were amazing! For desserts, the tiramisu classic also blew us away.

My spouse and I went to dinner at Felice 56 this evening. The staff are all extremely friendly just to start. We normally have an appetizer, pasta, and main course shared. The waiter was extremely nice about this. He brought us individual plates and put the dish in the middle. After each course he cleared the entire table and brought fresh plates and silverware. The wine was reasonably priced for Manhattan. The food was excellent. We ordered the eggplant parmigiana appetizer which was extremely good. This was followed by the fettuccine bolognese. This too was excellent. We finished with the chicken Milanese. This was quite big. We had trouble finishing but it was quite good. The restaurants ambience itself is great. Nicely done and what was really nice the restaurant was busy but it wasn't too loud. Overall I'm very impressed with the entire experience and can't wait to go back.

Perfect in every way!! Just went for a Restaurant Week lunch today. Here is why this place is wonderful: 1) All the staff are very friendly and professional; 2) The restaurant is gorgeous; 3) The tables are spaced comfortably apart and provide an intimate experience; 4) The food was very delicious with generous portions; 5) the price at $30 was incredibly reasonable I will tell all my friends!!

The ambiance is beautiful, with dishes that are as visually appealing as they are delicious. The staff is humorous, providing excellent service that made the dining experience both delightful and unexpectedly refined.

We choose this place randomly off maps while visiting NY and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the ambiance was calm and quiet, the service was satisfactory and the manager was very pleasant and even offered my boyfriend a free espresso on his way out. We recommended to a family member who temporarily lives in NY and she mentioned it's a celebrity hot spot which we had no idea. Note, we did not see any celebrities during our visit.

A friend organized a meal for 7 of us here (a reunion of sorts). They sat us downstairs in the wine room, which was actually perfect b/c we were all telling stories, drinking laughing and we were the only people in the downstairs. If you have a large party of up to 12 maybe - this is a great option and ask for the table in the wine room downstairs. They didn't rush us. We split a few appetizers (the zeppole prosciutto and the arancini). They were fine, but my entree of a chicken milanese with a salad on top. This was an EXCELLENT cutlet -- thin, crispy (crispy!) and tender. SO good. I had some of my husband's pasta too - A parpadelle with mushrooms, endive, sausage and truffle. Also very good -- and both were good portions. The food was really good, but the 5th star was for accommodating and letting us be loud and slow with our meal! The bathrooms had the prettiest wallpaper, I am going to try and find it to do my 1/2 bath.
